“Manufacturing” in the 21st century is strongly required to be based on technology with minimal resources, minimum energy consumption, and cost competitiveness. In addition, from the viewpoint of reduction of environmental burden such as saving energy and resource including CO2 reduction, development of compact and integrated batteries (solar cell, storage battery, fuel cell) with high energy density, high durability, and the development of lightweight and durable automotive parts, aircraft parts, etc. has become a global trend.
In order to meet these needs, and to realize new materials and devices, it will become increasingly important in the future that the coating technology of various ceramics and alloys with various properties at low cost.
From the viewpoint of strengthening industrial competitiveness, the Center aims to solve various problems by proprietary material technology and our original coating technologies such as AD method and excimer laser-assisted metal organic deposition (ELAMOD), and to transfer these technologies to companies.
